stranger than science fiction

2006-03-30 / 4:57 p.m.
one thing i get to do now that i'm a night owl is see some interesting television. while working on crafts the other night, i was able to see jay mohr dress in drag in the hit film, "cherry falls" on the sci-fi chanel. i wondered, what does a crappy horror film have to do with the science fiction channel? filler, i guess.

i've had a headache now for two days, and i attribute it to thinking about the things that fall under the science fiction umbrella. maybe "science fiction" is like "queer", and that it is a term that is inclusive of anything odd and outside of the mainstream. i think jay mohr in drag killing virgins because he's avenging his mother because she was raped by four guys on the high school football team falls in that category. for those of you who haven't seen this blockbuster: don't be too mad at me.

did i mention that the movie has brittany murphy in it? she's a brunette and during the filming hadn't reached her "coke whore" status. someone needs to tie her ass down and give her a ham and lard sandwich with extra lard.

i'm off to engage in some science fiction of my own: i'm going to a bridal shower.

tah, tah!
