fat and lazy: the ranting entry

okay so i've been lazy. for all three of you who read this diary, my apologies. you do understand how the ratrace sucks you in, right?

i'm getting ready to pack for my annual fat retreat in brown county with my best fat friend nikie. we had our first one last year at the KOA. see the entry called "fat kamping trip". a few of us chubby girls get together for a weekend of food, fun, and fat activism. we give each other support about how it is okay to NOT diet, and discuss guerilla style tactics about how we're gonna overthrow the anti-obesity legislation-(laugh if you must, but did you know that there's talk of a 'fat' tax for people? they're gonna start taxing 'bad' foods so people will have to pay more to eat a fucking sundae).


so my challenge for you readers is to mentally attend this retreat with me. for one weekend, do what you can to be uber nice to yourself. avoid media that tells you that there's something wrong with you, because chances are--there's nothing wrong with you. well....except for the fact you read my lame assed diary. you get the gist, right?

i feel like mainstream society wants us to think less of ourselves so we don't pay attention to the things that really matter: happiness, friendships, and the truth behind what's happening in the political climate. it's easy to distract the masses with 'there's something wrong with you'. they have us wrapped around their fingers while they do whatever they want because they have us worried about how white our teeth are and if there's any visible cellulite on our bodies. fuck that.
